DRC Selected in Federal Government Vendor of Record for Document Imaging Services

   DRC has been awarded a 3 year contract with the opportunity to convert upwards of 100 million pages of regulatory documents across multiple departments for the Federal Government of Canada, converting content from paper documents and microfilm to historical artifacts into digital format for ingestion into the Federal Government's implementation of GCDOCS; a document management solution based upon OpenText's Content Server platform.

DRC was awarded the contract after a competitive bid process which focused on proven conversion scale, compliant imaging and quality processes for image and data conversion, high volume references plus proven integration with OpenText's Content Server document management platform.
 

The requirements included highly sophisticated chain-of-custody, quality management and urgent document request processes enabling DRC to compete for Government business across Canada while ensuring continued access to key documents during the conversion process.
