Solutions
Accounts Payable & Receivable
DRC takes paper and PDF invoices from the mailroom to your ERP: captured, validated, archived and searchable in one secure process. AP teams approve faster, auditors find backup in seconds, and AR teams resolve disputes without hunting for paper. Every record is handled under CGSB 72.34-certified processes and Protected B security clearance.
Accounts Payable Automation Starts with Digital Content
DRC's accounts payable automation turns paper and PDF invoices into validated data in your ERP, and keeps every supporting document one search away. Finance teams face mounting pressure across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable:
- Reduce invoice and payment processing costs
- Shorten AP cycle times and eliminate manual data entry
- Improve vendor payment accuracy and responsiveness
- Accelerate cash application and reduce AR aging
- Manage growing volumes of paper, email and legacy documents
- Maintain strong auditability, compliance and financial controls
Without clean, structured digital content, AP automation stalls, AR efficiency suffers, and financial operations stay dependent on slow, manual processes.

Compliance and Records Retention
The Canada Revenue Agency generally requires business records to be kept for at least six years from the end of the last tax year they relate to. Its guidance accepts imaged records as the permanent record, and allows the paper to be destroyed, when imaging follows the national standard, CAN/CGSB-72.34, Electronic Records as Documentary Evidence.
DRC is certified to CAN/CGSB-72.34-2017, holds NAID AAA certification for secure destruction of paper once you approve it, and holds federal security clearance at the Protected B level for document safeguarding. Every invoice stays linked to its ERP transaction and is tracked under chain of custody from receipt to archive.

Accounts Payable Automation FAQ
How does DRC connect to our ERP?
Through data extracts and imports agreed during setup, sent by email or SFTP, so DRC works alongside your ERP and financial systems rather than replacing them.
Can we start with archiving only?
Yes. Pre-ERP automation and Post-ERP archiving are separate services. Many teams start by archiving approved invoices, then add up-front capture.
What happens to the paper invoices?
Once invoices are imaged to CGSB 72.34 and you approve, the paper can be securely destroyed under NAID AAA, or returned or stored if you prefer.
How do we find an invoice later?
Through a secure browser interface, by vendor name, invoice number, invoice date or amount.
How quickly can we start?
Hosted access through DRCSecure can be set up in days. The full timeline depends on your volumes and ERP integration.
