Intelligent Document Processing Services That Feed Your Systems
Each document arrives in your systems with its data already extracted and checked, linked to the image it came from.
- Documents: invoices, purchase orders, applications, claims, forms, contracts and correspondence, from paper, email or upload.
- Recognition: OCR for printed text and ICR for handwriting, with full-text search on every page.
- Classification: each document is identified by type automatically, so the right fields are extracted from each one.
- Data: key fields captured and validated against your business rules and reference data, in the format your system imports.
- Delivery: ERP, ECM, line-of-business and analytics platforms, cloud storage or DRCSecure Hosted Document Management.
How It Works
- Intake: documents arrive from our scanning floor, your mailroom, email or secure upload.
- Classification: AI models sort each document by type, such as invoice, claim or application.
- Extraction: OCR, ICR and AI extraction capture the fields defined for that document type.
- Validation: values are checked against business rules and your master data, such as vendor lists or account numbers.
- Exception review: our staff review anything that fails a check, so only verified data moves on.
- Delivery: data and images are exported to your systems, with each value linked to its source page.
Compliance and Security
DRC is certified to CAN/CGSB-72.34-2017, Electronic Records as Documentary Evidence, so the digital records we produce are built to stand up as evidence and to support disposal of the paper originals. Our NAID AAA certification covers secure destruction of paper once you approve it. DRC holds federal security clearance at the Protected B level for document safeguarding, and every box and file is tracked under documented chain of custody from pickup to delivery.
Every extracted value stays linked to its source image, so auditors can trace data back to the original document.
