Content Intelligence
Repository Health & Content Intelligence Service
Your existing repositories already hold valuable knowledge. DRC finds what’s holding it back and turns it into connected, AI-ready content, with no new scanning required to start.
Every repository has a health score, whether you measure it or not
Digitization solves the paper problem, but it doesn't guarantee that the content behind it is fit to use. Newly scanned records arrive with the indexing, classification and metadata decisions made at capture, and those decisions determine how well the content can be found and trusted for years afterward. Records scanned in earlier projects are often in worse shape: sitting in archives, file shares and aging document management systems with inconsistent folder structures, missing or conflicting metadata, duplicate and superseded versions, and access permissions that no longer match the sensitivity of what they protect. Over time, a repository that was built to answer questions becomes one that quietly hides the answers.
AI inherits the condition of your content
AI assistants, enterprise search and automation tools don't fix repository problems; they inherit them. When a tool draws on outdated versions, duplicate records or poorly classified files, it returns answers that sound confident but rest on the wrong source. When permissions are out of step with sensitivity, it can surface information to people who should never see it. The quality of what AI produces can never exceed the quality of the content it reads, which is why a repository health check belongs before any AI initiative, not after the first wrong answer.
From healthy content to content intelligence
A healthy repository is the foundation for content intelligence: content that is classified, connected and trusted enough to answer business questions directly. That is what turns archives into inputs for Business Intelligence, Decision Support and Predictive Analytics. Business Intelligence depends on complete, consistent records that can be counted and compared. Decision Support depends on finding the current, authoritative version of a policy, contract or file the moment it is needed. Predictive Analytics depends on years of historical records that are accurate enough to reveal real patterns rather than the noise of duplicates and gaps. When the underlying repository is sound, each of these delivers results your organization can act on with confidence.
How the Repository Health Check works
DRC delivers this service using an AI-driven assessment that produces a single composite Repository Health score. The work begins by understanding your repository and agreeing on the measures that matter most to you, across content, structure, metadata, search, data quality, security, governance and AI readiness. The assessment then runs against a secure, in-country replica of your repository, so your official records are never touched. Findings are ranked by risk and value, giving you a prioritized path to correct, consolidate and reclassify content, and the score can continue to be tracked as documents are added, changed or removed. Every recommended change is logged and reversible, and what is applied to the official repository is always your decision.
Built on DRC's capture discipline
The same quality architecture DRC applies to digitization, from pre-capture analysis through post-production audit, now extends to the content you already own. Whether your records were scanned last month or a decade ago, and whether they sit in SharePoint, OpenText, network file share, or in DRC's DRCSecure Hosted Document Management Repository, DRC can show you how healthy they are, what is holding them back, and what it will take to turn them into AI-ready knowledge your teams can trust.
The gap between where most organizations are and where they want to be is not a tools problem. It is a content quality problem.
